Anyone who grew up on the Disney Pixar flick probably wondered what this would look like in real life. Didn’t we all imagine our dolls and toys springing to life when we were youngsters alone in our rooms? One of the most creative and dedicated fan works I’ve seen on the web, it’s definitely worth sharing. If you were a fan of the original Pixar film, then feast your eyes on this: http://youtu.be/5G0j_Huv2Fg

It all began in June of 2010 by Jonason Pauley and Jesse Perrott who were just 17 and 18 years old. They started building sets and acquiring toys from the film. The ones they couldn’t buy, they made. I can’t even imagine the time and effort that must have took to make the toys look as amazing as they did!
At first, shooting was just a few short remakes of their favorite scenes. Many of the shorts can be found on their YouTube Channel: http://www.youtube.com/jonasonsMovies . The shorts were so well received that in September 2011 they committed to recreating the entire film. Made with a budget of $1,000 and neighborhood kids, the set was mainly comprised inside of Jonason’s bedroom. If you’re like me watching, you probably asked yourself “How did they make the characters come to life?” They said they used both stop motion filming, puppet strings or wire.
After seeking and being granted permission from Disney to distrubute, the video went live on January 12, 2013. At the time this article was published, the video had over 3 million views. To infinity and beyond.
